FAQs

WHAT IS A ZINE?
A 'zine', originally deriving from the word 'magazine', is a collection of works all around a certain character, pairing, group, and/or theme. They can be created by a singular person or as a collaborative effort.HOW CAN I GET A ZINE AFTER IT'S FINISHED?
Our zines will be digital and most likely free on itch.io! If this changes, we'll be sure to update this section as soon as possible.I WANT TO BE A MOD / CONTRIBUTOR! HOW DO I JOIN?
We will post applications on our carrd and socials when they are open! For an exact date, please keep an eye on the schedule for the zine you are interested in.WHAT CONTENT IS ALLOWED?
Because this differs from zine to zine, please go to the respective carrd and read from there.WILL THERE BE PHYSICAL COPIES OF THE ZINE?
We are not planning to create any physical copies of our zines right now, but you are welcome to print any zines out yourself for personal use. They cannot be resold. Well, unless you get consent from every contributor in a zine but that seems like a lot of work...HOW MANY PROFITS DO YOU GET FROM THE ZINES?
Because we do mainly fanzines, we gain no profits from any of our zines. We are a non-profit collection! If this changes, we will inform our followers as soon as possible.KEY ZINE ARTWORK TERMS
Page Art - Artwork that takes up a full page of the zine.
Merch Art - Artwork made to be used! This could be profile pictures, emotes, wallpapers, etc.
Visual Art - A smaller art piece usually paired with a piece of writing.
Other Art - All miscellaneous pieces! This includes cosplay, music, and all mediums not previously mentioned.
Spot/Asset Art - Art featured in social posts or as space fillers in the final zine.KEY ZINE WRITING TERMS
Fanfic - A full length piece of writing made to cover 1-2 pages of a fan zine. Under 2,500 words.
Chatlog - A conversation between two or more characters through e-messaging.
Podfic - An audiobook version of a fanfic made by one or more voice actor(s). Released alongside the zine as an mp3.STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?
